Jeff Herman placed 1st overall in the trout division with a nice 25" speckled trout.

Synopsis                               :    

The day started out very windy with a front expected to hit the coast the following day.  Unfortunately the front hit the coast about 10:30am on tournament day.  Winds switched from SSE at near 20mph to NNE at the same, making for a difficult day of paddling.  Even with difficult conditions Team Ocean Kayak performed well and caught fish.  Jeff Herman turned in an impressive 25" speckled trout in very difficult conditions easily winning the speckled trout division.  Jeff and Robert Harvey fished an area that produced quality trout for both of them.
