Tournament Recap    

Windy conditions made for a difficult fly fishing day.  Jeff and Vincent had little difficulty locating and catching speckled trout, however, redfish were a different story.  Jeff and Vincent located many redfish that were either unwilling to bite or too deep in cover to cast a fly towards.  It was a great opportunity for Team Ocean Kayak to expose the Texas Fly fishermen and women to the sport of kayak fishing.  Jeff and Vincent were the only two kayak anglers participating in this event.  Although Captain Filip Spencer was unable to fish this tournament due to another promotional event, Filip was able to help Jeff and Vincent locate redfish while prefishing on Friday.  Vincent, Jeff and Filip were also able to fish for fun on Sunday, we had a great time as usual.
